Given the high demand for the program and the number of households that have participated, all available spots have been filled earlier than expected with regard to the joint funding between Enbridge Gas and the Canada Greener Homes Grant. Effective end of day Monday, Feb. 5, 2024, the program will not accept any new applicants or complete any pre-retrofit energy assessments. Any pre-retrofit energy assessments completed after Monday, Feb. 5, 2024 will not be accepted into the program.

Insulation & Air Sealing Grant Amounts Overview

Up to $600 for the pre- and post-work home energy audits (EnerGuide evaluations).

Up to $1,800 for attic/ceiling insulation.

Up to $350 for exposed floor insulation.

Up to $400 for basement slab insulation.

Up to $1,000 for air sealing upgrades.

Up to $1,500 for basement wall insulation.

Up to $1,300 for crawl space wall insulation OR up to $800 for crawlspace ceiling insulation. If a homeowner is also insulating the basement, the maximum they can receive for insulating both areas is $1,500.
